Definition

Great teaching is defined as that which leads to improved student progress. We define effective teaching as that which leads to improved student achievement using outcomes that matter to their future success. Defining effective teaching is not easy. The research keeps coming back to this critical point: student progress is the yardstick by which teacher quality should be assessed. Ultimately, for a judgement about whether teaching is effective, to be seen as trustworthy, it must be checked against the progress being made by students (Aloisi, C., Coe, R., Higgins, S., & Major, L., 2014).

Effective teaching is the designed goal of every teacher. In effective teaching, the teacher uses certain approaches and tools to help the student learn and flourish. Those of us who were fortunate enough to have personal experience with effective teachers can learn from them if we are to go on as teachers ourselves. Effective teaching is a very successful methodology for its effectiveness in teaching. Their process is very meaningful for students when acquiring knowledge so the student will clear their doubts at each stage of the process, in which different strategies to suit the student to have a learning are used, then the evaluation it is very effective because it gives students strengthen their knowledge.

A really good education requires compromise from the teacher, to guide, to support, and advising. Compromise from student to pay attention, to be creative, to create a good tomorrow and to try be better each day.
